NY/NJ Terminal Backlogs Causing Delays
Please be advised, increased cargo surges coupled with diversions from West Coast Ports and recent inclement weather have caused a sizable backlog for the Port of New York and New Jersey. The added volume has led to port congestion and inevitable extended waiting periods for truckers. All parties are putting in the effort to clear the backlog as quickly as possible, but it will not happen overnight. Until progress has been made, delays are to be expected.
